Gleann Mor Whisky hit the Chinese market last Saturday night when the Edinburgh based bottler of rare whisky, hosted a tasting event for Visit Britain at Edinburgh’s Waldorf Astoria.
The group of 25 Tour Operators, Travel Agents and Visit Britain officials arrived in Edinburgh on Friday as part of a familiarisation trip of the country organized with the assistance of Cashel Travel in Scotland.
Gleann Mor Whisky Company’s Publicist, Lisa Henderson, presented the ‘Rare Find’ range to the group who then enjoyed a sampling of three rare whiskies; an Invergordon 24yo grain whisky, an 18yo Mortlach and lastly, a Bunnahabhain, 22yo Malt, from Islay.
The range of fine whiskies proved to be a great hit with the delegation of Chinese visitors, who were also gifted with a ‘NEAT’ glass each. The multi award-winning “Naturally Engineered Aroma Technology’ glasses are currently taking the Spirits world by storm, due to a clever, patented technology which directs alcohol burn away from the nose – perfect for tastings.
